CJD Creative Services, based in New York, provides design and production support for live events and installations. We specialize in design for live corporate events, temporary and permanent brand experiences, mobile activations and staged theatrical productions. Our team of independent collaborators not only can develop the initial creative vision for your project, but we also have extensive experience with managing and overseeing the implementation of the design throughout the production process. For larger-scale projects, we work with an extended network of talented designers, artists and production professionals from NYC and elsewhere, to provide complete design services.

THE CORE TEAM
CHRIS JONES, founder and lead designer
Chris Jones is a veteran designer and artist with over 20 years of professional experience in the entertainment and marketing industries. Chris is the secret weapon creative mind behind many successful consumer brand environments, corporate events, themed installations and live theatrical productions.
His career has evolved from a strong background in theatrical design, where collaboration is the key to an effective creative process. As a student, he received training from some of the most talented theatre artists in the industry. Once established in New York City in the late 90’s, Chris quickly gained valuable experience from powerhouse designers and production-savvy associates.
Chris has partnered with dozens of high-end marketing agencies and production companies to create a huge variety of experiences. Early Production Design credits include: The 2002 Salt Lake Paralympics Opening Ceremonies (Emmy Nominated and PICTURED ABOVE), Shamu’s “Believe” at Seaworld Adventureparks in 2006 (THEA and IAAPA award winner), and “Spirit: The Seventh Fire” Touring Event and Exhibit.
His more recent project portfolio includes some of the largest brands in the world, as well as big players in the entertainment industry: Google, Facebook, Anheuser-Busch, Nintendo, CBS Television, Oracle, Starwood Hotels, Delta Air Lines, IBM and Target. Since 2010, Chris has repeatedly been commissioned to design award-winning consumer experiences for Coca-Cola at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games, London 2012 Games and the Sochi 2014 Games.
Chris’ studio is located in the beautiful Hudson Valley, just north of New York City.
KRISTINA NORRIS, designeR AND VISUAL ARTIST
Kristina has always followed a creative path. Beginning her studies at Pratt MWP for Fine Arts, she graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Interior Design. Stemming from her spatial studies in Fine Arts and Interior Design, she quickly discovered a passion for scenic design and interactive builds.
As a professional, Kristina has helped develop many live events from conceptual ideas to execution, and has collaborated with talented designers and production agencies on a variety of projects. She has been a key player not only in the planning and visualizing of designs, but also with overseeing production to ensure that everything is executed properly from the small details to the big picture.
Originally from upstate NY, Kristina works independently out of her studio in Brooklyn, NYC.
